🔧 Universal Installation Basics

Typical Ignition Wires: 12V Constant, ACC, IGN1, IGN2, START, BRAKE

Common Tools: Digital Multimeter, Wire Strippers, Electrical Tape, Soldering Iron, Zip Ties, Panel Removal Tools, Drill

🚗 GM Vehicles

1999–2006 Chevrolet Silverado / GMC Sierra

Immobilizer: Passlock II | Bypass Required: YES

Wire Colors: 12V RED, IGN1 PINK, ACC ORANGE, START YELLOW, Brake WHITE

Common Problems: Engine starts then shuts off = Passlock bypass issue. Remote start no crank = starter wire or ground issue.

2000–2006 Chevrolet Tahoe / GMC Yukon

Wire Colors: 12V RED, IGN1 PINK, ACC ORANGE, START YELLOW. Use relay for high current accessories.

1998–2005 Chevrolet Blazer / GMC Jimmy

Wire Colors: 12V RED, IGN PINK, ACC ORANGE, START YELLOW. Bypass module strongly recommended.

🚗 Ford Vehicles

1999–2008 Ford F-150

Immobilizer: PATS | Bypass Required: YES

Wire Colors: 12V LIGHT GREEN/VIOLET, IGN1 GREEN, ACC BLACK/GREEN, START RED/LIGHT BLUE

Cranks but no start: PATS immobilizer active or incorrect bypass programming.

🚗 Toyota Vehicles

1998–2006 Toyota Camry

Wire Colors: 12V WHITE, IGN1 BLACK/RED, ACC PINK, START BLACK/WHITE. Some models require transponder bypass.

🚗 Honda Vehicles

1998–2007 Honda Accord

Wire Colors: 12V WHITE, IGN1 BLACK/YELLOW, ACC YELLOW, START BLACK/WHITE. Avoid airbag harnesses.

🔍 General Remote Start Troubleshooting

Vehicle cranks but no start: Immobilizer bypass missing, incorrect ignition wire, poor ground.
Remote start stops after seconds: Security interference, incorrect brake wire.
Push button no response: Blown fuse, poor harness connection, weak ground.

📡 Antenna & Button Guidelines

Antenna: Keep away from metal, mount in lower dash, center console, or kick panel.

Push Button: Mount on dash panel, factory blank area, or center console. Avoid airbag areas.
