⚠️ IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
Professional installation is strongly recommended. Always verify all wires with a digital multimeter before making any connection. Disconnect the negative battery terminal before installation.
🛠️ REQUIRED TOOLS
- Digital multimeter
- Wire stripper/crimper
- Soldering iron

🔌 BASIC UNIVERSAL PUSH START WIRING
Most universal push start systems require: 12V Constant, ACC, IGN1, IGN2, START, Brake Input, Ground, Parking Light, Door Lock, Door Unlock.
🔐 IMMOBILIZER WARNING
Many vehicles use factory immobilizer systems: GM Passlock, Ford PATS, Toyota Transponder, Honda Immobilizer, Chrysler SKIM. A bypass module may be required.
📋 INSTALLATION OVERVIEW
STEP 1: Disconnect battery
STEP 2: Remove steering column covers
STEP 3: Identify ignition wires with multimeter
STEP 4: Connect push start module
STEP 5: Install push button
STEP 6: Connect brake input
STEP 7: Install immobilizer bypass if needed
STEP 8: Test system
🚗 GM VEHICLE GUIDES
1995 GMC JIMMY
No immobilizer Most models do NOT require bypass. Steering column harness. Wire colors: 12V RED, ACC BROWN, IGN PINK, START YELLOW.
1999 Chevrolet Silverado
Passlock Bypass required. Wire colors: 12V RED, ACC ORANGE, IGN PINK, START YELLOW.
🚗 FORD VEHICLE GUIDES
1998 Ford Explorer
PATS Bypass required. Wire colors: 12V LIGHT GREEN/PURPLE, ACC BLACK/GREEN, IGN GREEN/PURPLE, START RED/LIGHT BLUE.
2004 Ford F-150
PATS equipped Use quality bypass module, avoid T-taps.
🚗 TOYOTA VEHICLE GUIDES
2001 Toyota Camry
Wire colors: 12V WHITE, ACC GRAY, IGN BLACK/ORANGE, START BLACK/WHITE. Some trims require transponder bypass.
🔍 UNIVERSAL TROUBLESHOOTING
Engine cranks but no start: Missing immobilizer bypass or incorrect IGN wire.
Push button does nothing: No constant 12V, blown fuse, or ground issue.
Starts then shuts off: Immobilizer bypass failure.
✅ RECOMMENDED INSTALLATION PRACTICES
DO: Solder connections, use heat shrink, secure harnesses.
DO NOT: Twist-and-tape, use cheap test lights, route wires near pedals.
